Congratulation, Dave & Charlotte
Congratulations go to Dave & Charlotte who worked here last year. It seems that rather than conserving their energies for work at Calypso as all dedicated employees should do, they were busy conceiving the beautiful Milly-Rose who was born in April. Nice work, guys - she's a corker! One can only speculate, however, on the deep, long-term psychological impact she will be getting from Daddy's hairstyle.
Love ya all! Hope to see you all here for a visit soon!!!

Weather update
As there is a lot of rainy, miserable, cool and dull weather in the UK (and other parts of Northern Europe) at the moment, I wuold like to take this opportunity to say how lucky you all are. Here we are halfway through a big heatwave. Yesterday we went to the beach and even our towels we too hot to lie on so we were all lying in the water. At home there was a fight for the children's paddling pool - and the children were asleep at the time!!
The forecast says it will peak tomorrow (Tues) at around 43 degrees.
Oh for a cold rainy afternoon!

Welcome Sarah!
Sarah, our new Au Pair arrived last week. Sarah is 19 and from Holland. She will be here until early August. She is already a real hit with everyone - including the twins!!! You can read more about her on her blog - if you speak Dutch, that is! www.smileysarah.web-log.nl
A thorn between 2 roses?
Olga's best make Klug (Caroline) left, made a welcome return this month. She will be out later with the family all being well.
Peter & Ruth
Ruth & Peter didn't make it here last year. They were in somewhere beginning with 'S'. No, not that. A country beginning with'S'! Anyway they managed to celebrate their wedding anniversary at Calypso. 7th. I think. I also remember that they celebrated another one here a few years ago - could it have been your first?

Apologies!
OK. Sorry everyone. This blog is not being updated as much as it should be!
Here are the excuses: Illness, bad weather and the arduous process of finding the perfect Au Pairs for the summer season.
Well all of this is (hopefully) sorted now & I have to get blogging again!!
Watch this space.
