Remember?

The lovely Tove from Norway popped in for a meal with her fella, Manfred last night. Tove worked at Calypso during our first and second seasons both in the kitchen and as our waitress before moving to a village near Matala. Lovely to see you both!

Three weeks flash by! Gordon & Debbie with son, Jack (Italian shirt - surely not!), have a long overnight journey ahead of them to Glasgow. Definitely a month next year guys! 

The last time Dave & Christa appeared on the blog in early May, they were all wrapped up in fleeces & scarves. They were last night too but I asked that they remove them for the photo!

Georgos brings the bacon from home

It's Georgos from Hania bringing a delivery of delicious English back bacon for our Sunday bunch. 

A fond farewell this week to Mark & Cate Ingham from Nottinghamshire. They kindly sent me some chalk marker pens a couple of months ago so are partly responsible for the lovely blackboard signs which I so enjoy writing each day. At least now I only have to write them once as kids can't rub them off! Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo of Mark & Cate while they were here.

Bill, who lives near Rethymnon on the north coast of the island, payed us a visit this week. He pops down to Paleochora every now and then, usually during one of his walking expeditions. 

Don't you just hate it when you are in a restaurant, enjoying your meal & some idiot pops in front of you with a camera? Here are David & Sue, Calypso regulars for many years, enjoying some Thai Seared Beef. Some of you will remember David's daughter, Jo and her boyfriend, Dave who worked at Calypso towards the end of the season 2 years ago as waitress and chef.

Ruth arrived a few days ago to join hubby, Bob, for their yearly summer stay of several weeks. Lovely to see you back, dear!
Also a warm welcome back to the Molmen family from Oslo - Tor & Vibeke with Phillip (4) and Andreas (2). When Andreas was born, Tor got 3 months paternity leave from his job to get over the shock and the family decided to spend this time in Paleochora. They are only in town for a week this time, however. Hey, make some more babies!

Fin, Olivia & Rosanne popped in for a bite before hitting the town. As I am officially paparazzi, I will deny a fee to Select Model Agency Ltd, who employ Olivia. I will, of course, sell the photo of 'Top Model Eats Burger' to the News Of The World.
